Current research status of PLA2R and malignancy associated membranous nephropathy

As a common cause of nephropathy syndrome in adults,membranous nephropathy(MN) often leads to end-stage renal disease.PLA2R related testing may aid a definite diagnosis of idiopathic MN.In recent years,we have detected some patients of malignancy associated membranous nephropathy(M-MN) with PLA2R positive.And PLA2R could regulate the tumors.For avoiding worsening tumors through hormone and immune suppression,a correct diagnosis is vital.There is a possibility of malignancy associated membranous nephropathy with PLA2R positive.It has great prognostic significance.
