Research advances on therapeutic mechanisms of common Chinese patent medicines for idiopathic membranous nephropathy

As an autoimmune disease with an elusive etiology, idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) is a major pathological type of adult nephrotic syndrome. Chinese herbal medicines have offer various advantages of diverse pathways, multiple targets and high safety. Based upon the pathogenesis of IMN, this review summarized the action targets and related pathways of commonly used TCMs for IMN and provided practical references for clinical usage.
