Abstract
Objective To explore the cognitive status of diabetic kidney disease(DKD) -related knowledge among diabetic population and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 1524 diabetics were selected. The assessment scale of DKD cognitive status was employed for evaluating the cognitive status of DKD-related knowledge. The relevant clinical data were recorded. Univariate and multivariate Logistic regression analyses were utilized for examining the influencing factors of acquiring DKDrelated knowledge. Results Cognitive status score was(33.65±3.42)points for diabetics and(44.38±4.56)points for DKD patients. After stratifying by the cognitive level of DKD-related knowledge, univariate analysis indicated that age, annual household income, education level, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and diabetic duration were the influencing factors for DKD cognition in diabetics(P<0.05);multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age ≥ 60 years, annual household income <100, 000 yuan and lower education level were risk factors for DKD cognition in diabetics(P<0.05). And hyperlipidemia and hypertension were protective factors for DKD cognition in diabetics(P<0.05). Conclusion Diabetics have a poor cognition of DKD-related knowledge. And age, annual household income, education level, hyperlipidemia and hypertension are the influencing factors. Tutoring should be implemented according to specific patient situations.
