Clinical pathological analysis of 9825 cases of renal biopsy

    • Objective To investigate distribution characteristic and disease spectrum changes of the pathological typesin patients with renal puncture biopsy in Shandong. Methods The clinical pathological data of 9 825 cases of renal biopsy from January 2014 to October 2018 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Results The ratio of male to female was 1.22:1 in 9 825 cases. The peak age of theincidence was 40~60 years old. There were 7 524 cases of primary glomerulonephropathy(PGN), accounting for 76.58% of all cases. The common pathological types were membranous nephropathy (MN, 53.08%), IgA nephropathy (IgAN, 25.23%) and minimal change glomerulonephritis (MCN, 15.47%). Theconstituent ratio of membranous nephropathy increased gradually. Lupus nephritis (LN, 21.08%) was the most common secondary nephropathy(SGN), followed by diabetic nephropathy (DN, 18.70%) and hypertensive renal injury (HN, 17.26%). Conclusions Renal diseases in this region are mostly common in middle-aged people, and primary glomerular diseases are the most common. MN and IgAN are the most common pathological types. The incidence of MN is significantly higher than that in other parts of the China and has an increasing trend. For SGN, LN is the most frequent types, followed by DN and HN.
