Abstract:
Belonging to the family of protein tyrosine phosphatases,DUSPs(dual-specificity phosphatases)can dephosphorylate both serine/threonine and tyrosine residues concurrently. In recent years, with the in-depth study of DUSPs,they have been implicated as major participants in various physiological and pathological activities. And DUSPs related to MAPK(mitogen-activated protein kinase)play a vital regulatory role in a variety of kidney diseases. This review summarized the general characteristics and current researches of DUSPs in nephrology.
