Abstract: As a common complication of chronic kidney disease (CKD),secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT)greatly increases the mortality of patients.However,its underlying pathogenesis is rather complex and its treatments vary during different stages of disease.In conjunctions with previous studies,the pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment of SHPT in CKD patients were reviewed for providing references for clinical practices.
